Due to her worsening knee injury, Dal Shabet’s Ga Eun was unable to represent the freshmen class of 2011 in the Seoul Arts College’s entrance ceremony.
A representative of Dal Shabet revealed,
“Ga Eun had a injury to her left knee in January, yet pushed through her activities. However, the condition has worsened. She has admitted to the hospital this afternoon. In the end, she was unable to take the stage at the entrance ceremony.”
Ga Eun was admitted to a hospital near Kangnam that day. Due to the exacerbated injury, she will not be taking part in Dal Shabet activities for some time, and so the group will continue their activities as a five-membered unit.
Meanwhile, the freshman class was treated to celebratory performances from Se7en and Rainbow. Se7en performed four songs including ‘Digital Bounce‘, ‘I’m Going Crazy‘, and ‘Better Together‘. He congratulated the students saying, “I earnestly congratulate you on your admission. You will be beginning your new school life; I hope that through your joyful and exciting experiences and hard work, you would be able to achieve your dreams.”
Also, the congratulatory rice and monetary donations which were received this day will be going towards the underprivileged members of the movie industry, thanks to the Korean Movie Filming Directors Association and the Korean Movie Lighting Directors Association.
