Following the online release of Big Bang’s practice video for TONIGHT four days ago, YG Entertainment has revealed the practice room version of Somebody to Love on Big Bang’s official Youtube channel, giving fans a clear glimpse of the choreography.
With a full set of backup dancers participating from beginning to end, this video reveals the dynamic details of the choreography that achieve an effect that wouldn’t have been the same with only five members on stage; the collective mass part at 2:30-46 is especially striking. Another nice touch is the rising microphone concept as the backup dancers serve as human mic stands — for example, see Seungri at 0:32, Daesung at 0:48 and T.O.P at 1:15.
